Tennis Coach
Tennis · Juniors · Student-Athletes · Adults
Coach Josh’s tennis journey began at the age of seven. Over the past 11 years, the sport has taken him from learning the fundamentals to competing at a high level within the United States high-school tennis system.
As his high school’s No. 1 singles and doubles player, Josh represented his team as a state contender and achieved regional rankings of third in singles and second in doubles. Competing in both disciplines helped him develop a well-rounded understanding of the game—from building points independently in singles to communication, positioning, and teamwork in doubles.
Josh’s interest in coaching grew naturally from his experience as a player. Beyond competing, he helped conduct team drills and conditioning sessions, giving him early experience in supporting the development of fellow student-athletes. He also volunteered to coach beginner youth players through an American college programme, helping younger players build their confidence and enjoyment of tennis.
Since then, Josh has worked with student-athletes and served as a hitting partner for adult players. His competitive background allows him to bring realistic match situations, purposeful intensity, and a player’s perspective into every session.
Whether he is introducing a junior to the fundamentals, helping a student-athlete sharpen their competitive game, or providing an engaging hitting session for an adult player, Josh aims to make each lesson active, focused, and rewarding.
